It’s been a long road to get to this point, and I’m happy to finally share that Chasing Skies: 100 Years of Aviation in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, 1926-2026 is finished and was submitted to the publisher (Friesen Press in Altona, Manitoba) last month. Design changes and unforeseen publishing delays have pushed the release date to Summer 2026.

This 300 page book showcases the many stories of Lac du Bonnet aviation history and features hundreds of photos in both black and white, and full colour from the past century.

Book Preorders
My only goal with this book is to share Lac du Bonnet’s aviation history so the people, planes and places are not forgotten. With that said, preorders will determine how many books I print.

Purchase price: $35
For orders of 5 books or more: $30
(All taxes are included in above book price.)

Unless other arrangements are made, all preordered books will be picked up at a Lac du Bonnet book event (date TBD). Payment is due in full at this event. All sales are final.

For those unable to attend the Lac du Bonnet event, books can be shipped through Canada Post at the recipient’s cost.
